We hired First Avenue for our Silver Wedding Party in August last year, what an amazing night everybody had, the band set up before our guests arrived and proceeded to play as soon as we had finished our meal. The dance floor was never empty their choice of songs and music were first class, band members very professional and friendly. We would love to do it all again.Elizabeth, Private Party, London, 2018

The band and DJ were amazing and also genuinely nice people! We had requests for more songs when the second set ended, they were that good! The manager came up to us at the end and we had a really nice chat and was nice to have a personal touch to the evening. Our guests raved about how good they were too. Thanks for making our evening so musical!Peter, Wedding, Hampshire, 2018

Natalie, Alice, and their team, provided us with a highly professional and entertaining evenings music, which catered for the majority of our party. We would not hesitate to recommend First Avenue to anyone planning their own party or event and feel certain they will be pleased with this choice. Many thanks, you were great!Chris, Private Party, Essex 2018

We have booked First Avenue for 5 consecutive annual award events. They never fail to get everyone’s up and dancing, amazing set lists, extremely professional and great people to work with. We know that we’re in safe hands with First Ave.Mark, Corporate Event, West Midlands, 2018

I just wanted to email you to thank you so much for making our dinner dance one of the best if not ‘the best’ we have ever had! (and we’ve had a few)! You guys were AMAZING! Everyone I have spoken to this morning have said that you are the best band we have had to date! You were right, having the two brass players elevated the music to another level.  Everyone’s asking how I found you! The singers were incredible too! You all were just brilliant! Thank you again, and I hope we can book you for next year too!Charlie, Corporate event, Warwickshire, 2017

We are just back from honeymoon hence the delay…it is also quite a difficult email to write as there are not enough adjectives for how impressed we were with all of you and the performances. Every guest has commented to us about the band and we really hope you realised on the night how much people were enjoying your music. Amazing song choices, incredible vocals, genius use of the brass, great jazz section, every musician talented and playing with such energy. Perfection. We are delighted that you were part of making the whole day so memorable for us. I’m already thinking of excuses to have another party so we can have you back! Huge thanks!Molly, Wedding, Derbyshire, 2016

You guys were absolutely incredible the other night, thank you for everything. Hopefully run into you again, I’m sure we will.Sandy, Wedding, Hertfordshire, 2016

My guests were SO impressed. I was in the bar and people kept coming through to tell me how great the band were. Came and listened myself and they were right…..they were excellent!! Julia, Wedding, Somerset, 2016

It was a pleasure working with you and booking First Avenue for the wedding, which was truly a special night and the band and DJ were excellent. Once again many thanks for all your co-operation.Masha, Wedding, London, 2019

As a professional musician myself (though in the genre of opera) the musical aspect of my wedding was of huge importance to me. After extensive research into numerous bands I decided to book First Avenue for the evening entertainment. I booked the seven piece band because I wanted that unbeatable brassy sound. My guests and I were blown away with the quality of sound that these guys produced. Every member of the band is obviously an excellent musician in their own right. Fantastic singing, virtuosic instrumental solos and a tight, rhythmically assertive ensemble. By the end of the night, every single one of my guests was on the dance floor giving-it-large to The Killers – Mr Brightside! I stood on the edge of the dance floor trying to take it all in and preserve the memory. My husband and I enthusiastically recommend this cover band to anybody looking for a class act for their event. I would suggest that you will not find better value for money for this standard of musicianship.Victoria, Wedding, London, 2019
