About The Act

The Riot Dogs are a fresh-faced three-piece band with powerful vocals with a whole lot of range, and exceptionally talented musicians to boot!

The band is led by Sam, who has vocals that are utterly perfect for all of those nostalgic 90s and 00s punk-rock-pop era classics. Sam also likes to think of himself as Jack Black from School of Rock. Monday to Friday afternoon Sam teaches kids how to be in a band, and on the evenings and weekends, he joins his band mates and brings party music to audiences up and down the country for weddings, corporate events and festivals. Ewan backs Sam on bass and backing vocals, and Rob on drums and backing vocals. The band like to throw in some backing tracks to make the show shine even more. The group has a 4th member, a guitarist, in case you’d like more musicians rocking out on your stage.

The trio has been performing together since 2016 now. All three backing musicians have trained at higher education level at the prestigious facilities.

Ewan can also DJ too in case you want a live DJ for the evening for before, in-between or after the band’s live sets. Some of the band’s achievements include opening for Happy Monday, touring North America and Brazil, recording and performing with Emeli Sande, performing at Notting Hill Carnival, Islington O2, the Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s, Troy Bar, and completing a contract on P&O Cruises.

The Riot Dogs have got an extensive repertoire of over 100 songs covering the best pop, rock, soul, indie, and alternative classics across the decades – take a look, you’ll be sure to find your favourites!

Once you’ve booked the band, you can count on excellent and fast communication, as well as having full control over what songs the band plays on your special night. The Riot Dogs will make sure they’re 100% on the same page as you well in advance of your event. You may even get to see Rob drum standing up if he gets very excited! The boys bring a full PA and lighting rig with them wherever they go as well as can-do attitudes and lots of laughter.

The band were absolutely excellent. Communications before hand were very good and they made sure everything was clear before the date. They were very professional on the day and it went completely smoothly. I’m very pleased with booking them. They sounded brilliant during their set. Could not recommend enough.Mel & Ryan, Wedding, August 2018

They are a very talented group of musicians and I feel very lucky to have had them play at my party. We have had so many comments from our friends saying how much they enjoyed the music and what a brilliant singer Sam is. He was also very friendly and responsive to the audience and I didn’t expect him to sing Happy Birthday to me!Sally, London, Birthday Party, March 2018

Amazing party band!Lex, London, Christmas Staff Party, December 2016

The band were absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have asked for anything else from them. They had our guests on the dance floor for the whole evening. If you are thinking of booking a wedding band, make sure to go for The Riot Dogs, you will not regret it! They were also completely flexible with timings, and even came to set up early so they were not setting up when our guests were there. I would recommend them to everyone I know!!Sophie & Chris, London, Wedding, July 2016

The band were not only incredibly talented but they also went out of their way to bring a party vibe to our 1920s wedding, making sure all our guests were having a fantastic time! The dance floor was packed throughout and their special requests songs meant so much to us as the bride and groom. We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment, and all of this was made possibly through Rhona’s flawless planning. Thank you to The Riot Dogs, we would book again and definitely recommend to others!Becky & Ed, London, Wedding, December 2016
