I recently had Velvet Diamond play at my wedding, what a wonderful experience. We had opted for the 4 piece knowing that the drums would probably encourage a little more grooving on the dance floor. We weren’t wrong, the floor didn’t empty from the start of the night to the finish. Najwa was a star, her voice is brilliant and she actively encouraged audience participation (which was quite a highlight). No request was too big, we had asked they join in part way through our first dance song, which they agreed to do and it made the occasion all that more special, the floor was filled within moments. As with most weddings our schedule was over running, the band fit in with us every step of the way, they were polite, professional and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure to have them part of our special day. All of our guests commented on how great it was to have a live band. The booking process is very easy and their manager answered all queries promptly, she helped with all sorts of guidance along the way to ensure our event was perfect. If you are thinking of a live band for your next event I can highly recommend Velvet Diamond. Many thanks to Rhona, Najwa and the band.Leah & Nicky, Wedding, London, 2016

F A N T A S T I C Please pass on our sincere thanks to Najwa and the Band. Thank you too for all the behind the scene work. We had an amazing day. So many fab compliments about our day received. Happy tears, big smiles and lots of laughter!!! The venue owners said (the next day) that the band was the best band they had had at their venue. They have be doing this for many years!! Until our next celebrationKim & Steph, Wedding, July, 2018

Thank you so much for a great band and making the whole process so easy and seamless. Until the next party (next year hopefully!!!)Natasha, Birthday Party, London, 2017

We were both absolutely delighted both with Velvet Diamond and The Supreme Collective. Many of our guests were continuously telling us how great the band was and I’m sure I’ve never been at a wedding where the dance floor was so full!! We were honestly so so pleased – in both instances it really made the day. I’m so incredibly grateful to you all for putting on such an incredible show. It really was just perfect – they aced it.Laura & Chris, Wedding, Surrey, 2016

Just very quickly, the band on Saturday were above OUTSTANDING!!!!!!Phil, Club Manager, Essex, 2018

Velvet Diamond were fantastic. The setlist and performance were spot on and we really appreciated how much they interacted with our guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend – 5 stars!Ask4 Ltd, Corporate Event, January 2019

Amazing party band. Great tunes, great performance, great vibe. Thanks!Louise, Staff Party, London, 2016

We booked Velvet Diamond for our beautiful wedding all the way in Devon. For the finer points of the booking we dealt with Rhona who was a pleasure to deal with and always available to answer any queries. The band themselves were beyond our expectations, they really made our evening party special and both singers were amazing! We had so many compliments from the guests and all the other suppliers wanted to know where they had come from. The band really interacted with the guests and got myself (the bride) and many of the children to sing too, which everyone loved! We are both so grateful for what a special touch they added to our day.Angela & Francesco, Wedding, Devon 2016

Najwa and the band were not only incredibly talented but they also went out of their way to bring a party vibe to our 1920s wedding, making sure all our guests were having a fantastic time! The dance floor was packed throughout and their special requests songs meant so much to us as the bride and groom. We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment, and all of this was made possibly through Rhona’s flawless planning. Thank you to the Supreme Collective, we would book again and definitely recommend to others!Becky & Ed, Wedding, London, 2016

The band were superb, Najwa and Claire’s vocals were amazing and the musicians were brilliant. I thanked them in a drunken state over the mic but please send them a sober thanks, they were excellent.Tamer & Mira, Wedding, London, 2017

Absolutely fantastic. We held joint 50th/21st and 18th; Everyone was dancing all night long. The band were amazing and loved by all generations. Rhona was very professional in the organisation and very accommodating and the band were exceptional. It made the party – thank you. Angus, Bertie & Natasha, Birthday Party, London, 2016

This is our second time booking Velvet Diamond for an event, and once again they impressed! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!Natasha, Corporate, London, 2016

What a performance! We are so pleased that we chose your services for our wedding reception. Velvet Diamond are by far the best live party band we have seen. They were amazing! From learning our first dance song and singing it beautifully, to performing Mr Brightside twice (it’s one of my favourites), and then allowing Molly to perform ‘Valerie’ with the band, the evening was perfect. We would like to sincerely thank you for all the effort you and the band put into making the wedding reception a memorable event. Your friendliness, professionalism and assistance in working around our busy schedule so that the band sound checked early surpassed our expectation and we will definitely recommend you. Maria & Tim, Wedding, Hampshire, 2016

We had a really perfect experience with Velvet Diamond at our Wedding Celebration in Putney. Before the event the communication and planning with Rhona was clear and on point; selecting a set list was easy given the wide variety of styles available and Rhona was able to direct us towards certain songs that the band played especially well. At the event, the band played wonderfully, bringing a great energy and enthusiasm to the evening. Getting the bride and her dad on stage to sing was a wonderful touch, as was their willingness to play an encore and hang around chatting at the end of the night. All members of the band were very talented musicians and they all worked together like seasoned professionals. Both singers deserve special mention Claire for her soulful vocals and Najwa for her ability to work the crowd and engage with the audience. We would highly recommend the band and would book again without hesitation.Nic & Simon, Wedding, London, 2016

We absolutely LOVED the band! They made the night and our guests thought they were awesome too! We were hoping they would be great, and I was sure they would be, but on the night they were even better than we had hoped for, they did a really great job!Natasha, Wedding, London, 2015
